Adjust a sticking or sagging door
Hinges tightened or shimmed, strike plate moved, edges planed if needed.
Part of the list
A door that closes with one hand again. We work on interior and exterior doors, locks and trim.
Doors move with the seasons and the foundation. Most that stick need a hinge screw, a shim or a little planing, not a new door.
Hinges tightened or shimmed
Strike plate and latch lined up
Edges planed where needed
Hardware tested before we leave

Job by job
Each is a standard job, with what's included.
The door that sticks, the lock that wobbles, the trim that came loose.
Hinges tightened or shimmed, strike plate moved, edges planed if needed.
You choose the hardware. We fit it and test the latch.
Pre-hung or slab, hardware fitted, gaps checked. Painting is a separate job.
Nailed, glued, filled and caulked.
Your text-back lists the price of each job on your list, and the crew confirms it before work starts.
What changes the price
If you buy the lever or deadbolt, the price is the install. Matching a keyed set takes more time.
Solid and exterior doors are heavy, so hanging one takes two people and more time than a hollow interior door.
A door in a frame that has moved may need the frame fixed first. We tell you when we see it.
We hang a door in an existing frame. A new frame, a new opening or a security door is a larger job, and we tell you if it needs an estimate.
Re-keying is a locksmith's trade. We replace the lever or deadbolt.
Painting is a separate job. A touch-up is on the walls and patches list.
Add it to up to four other jobs and we'll text a price for each.
